Counseling

Counseling

Here at Worship Wins Wars Ministry we have a passion for marriage and family. The couple’s ministry, “Hold Fast as One Flesh” was the first ministry started at our church. It was designed as a combination bible study, group therapy program and a source of fellowship and fun for the couples. The couples’s ministry gives each couple a place to be heard, understood, enlightened and encouraged. The couples are encouraged to be open and honest with each other and are assured of the confidentiality of the information shared.

Pastor William Aberdeen and wife Graceline Aberdeen take time out of their busy schedules of working full time jobs and tending to the church to give counsel to anyone who asks. They have helped many couples in WWW Ministry and outside of the ministry to strengthen their relationships with Christ and their spouses. Not only do they counsel couples but are willing to and have worked with whole families, at risk youth, single parents, and single individuals who need help.
In addition to Pastor and his wife, their daughter Marisa is also in the ministry of help. Marisa is currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology but has already earned her Bachelors in Child/Adolescent Psychology, a Masters in Human Service Counseling and another Masters in Pastoral Counseling. Marisa is also currently working as a Substance Abuse Counselor in Shallotte, North Carolina but she makes herself available as much as possible for those who are in need of prayer, encouragement, advice or even counseling.

Together their desire is to offer anyone the opportunity to address personal and spiritual concerns and/or problems and their consequent distress, while encouraging spiritual and emotional growth in a safe and supportive environment.

COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY:
The Bible & the Holy Spirit, we believe that everything we need is in the word of God and the Holy Spirit leads and directs in the right way as we yield ourselves to Him. Our aim as counselors is to assist in spiritual development and emotional healing while encouraging people in developing a closer relationship with Christ and others.

OUR GOAL:
We understand the difficulty, pain and discomfort associated with counseling. We aspire to protect your privacy and help you feel as comfortable as we can. We are here to listen and meet you where you are without any judgment or criticism. We will help walk you through the process of healing and renewing your mind through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you are in need of counseling for any reason we are ready and willing to help. You can contact us through email at whaberdeen@worshipwinwarsministry.org or by phone at (908) 512-6868 or 908-510-6243. God Bless.
